Tile Tale ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your
privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and
disclose information when you play Tile Tale.
1. Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the app, we collect certain information automatically
through third-party services:
- Identifiers: We collect device identifiers
(such as the IDFA for advertising and IDFV for vendor tracking)
and service-specific identifiers (such as your Game Center ID).
- Usage Data: We collect information about your
interactions with the app, including puzzle progress, gameplay
events (moves, undos, hints), and session duration.
- Diagnostics: We collect crash reports and
performance data to help us improve the app's stability.
- Purchases: We collect your purchase history to
manage in-app purchases and restore items. Payment details are
handled securely by Apple and are never shared with us.
2. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect data in
accordance with their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements.
AdMob may use device identifiers to serve personalized ads.
- Firebase Analytics: Used to understand how
players use the game.
- Apple Game Center: Used for leaderboards,
achievements, and multiplayer features.
- Apple CloudKit: Used to sync your game progress
across your devices.
3. Tracking and App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On iOS, we will ask for your permission to track you across apps and
websites owned by other companies. If you decline, AdMob will serve
non-personalized ads, and your data will not be used for targeted
advertising.
4. Children's Privacy
Tile Tale is a general audience game. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have
inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we
can delete it.
5. Data Retention
We do not operate our own database servers. Your game progress is
stored on your device and in your private Apple iCloud account via
CloudKit. Analytics and advertising data are stored by Google and
Apple according to their respective retention policies.
6. Your Rights
You can manage your data in the following ways:
- iCloud Data: You can delete your game data
through your iOS Settings under iCloud.
- Advertising: You can reset your Advertising
Identifier or limit tracking in your iOS Privacy settings.
- Analytics: You can opt-out of collection within
the app settings (if provided) or by disabling tracking.
